This Spring, Adtec follows up the successful launch of the TX-series last year with a new range of high-power, 13.56MHz power supplies that addresses the high-power needs of Photovoltaic, semiconductor, MEMS and flat-panel display equipment while staying true to Adtec's fundamental commitment to reliability and sound design upon which its reputation has been built over the past 20 years making RF products.

The "TS-Series" takes advantage of advanced, all-solid-state power-efficient amplifier technology and has been designed with the latest components available to deliver a flexible, cost-effective product.

Improvements in the power conversion efficiency have delivered benefits such as:

• lower energy consumption,
  
• lower heat-load and therefore lower cooling costs.

• Compact, half and full-rack designs up to 15kW, lowering installation costs

TS Series generators are currently available in three power ratings: the TS-05 (5kW) in compact "half-rack" size, and the TS-10 (10kW) and TS-15 (15kW), each in "full-rack" mountable size.

Stephen Noonan, Adtec's Global Marketing Group leader commented, "Like the (low power) TX Series released at the end of last year, the TS Series concept has leveraged 20 years of RF design know-how and extensive market research, with cost of ownership and flexibility in mind.

Many users don't need all the "bells and whistles" of a full-specification power supply, so pulse-mode output, alternative control interfaces, front panel control keys and screens etc can be added to the basic ‘no frills' specification as your needs demand - the result being you don't pay for functions you don't require.

"And because these options can be integrated at a later stage of production, it gives us the capacity to respond quickly and flexibly to customer requests, enhancing our ability to cut lead-times," Noonan added. "Reliability and quality are at the heart of Adtec's values, and the TS-Series products will come with the same 2-year standard warranty as our other RF power supplies, but by designing intelligently and incorporating value-adding flexibility, the TS series RF power supplies will set a new standard at this power level."
