Introducing the TX Series

04/11/09

New range of low-power "TX-Series" compact RF generators for budget-conscious users. Adtec quality, competitively priced.

London, UK, November 4th, 2009 - This Autumn sees the release of a new range of low-power, 13.56MHz power supplies from Adtec that addresses the budget demands of ever-more cost-conscious customers, while retaining the core philosophy that has earned Adtec the reputation as the market leader in robust RF generators.

The "TX-Series" uses the same basic "A/B-class" linear amplifier configuration as Adtec's tried-and-tested "AX-Series" products, but has been redesigned with the latest components available to deliver a flexible, lower cost product. Power conversion efficiency has also been improved, giving lower energy consumption, lower heat-load and therefore lower running costs.

TX Series generators are currently available in three power ratings: the TX-03 (300W), the TX-06 (600W) and the TX-10 (1kW), each in compact "half-rack" size.

All are air-cooled, run off single phase AC, and start at 7kg (15.5lbs) in weight, making them easy to install almost anywhere.

Adtec's Global Marketing Group leader, Stephen Noonan commented, "The TX Series has been designed from scratch after extensive market research with cost and flexibility in mind. Options such as pulse-mode output, alternative control interfaces, variable frequency etc can be added to the basic ‘no frills' specification as you require - the result being you only pay for functions that you need.

"And because these options can be integrated at a later stage of production, it gives us the capacity to respond quickly and flexibly to customer requests, enhancing our ability to cut lead-times," Noonan added.

"Reliability and quality are Adtec's core values, and the TX-Series products will come with the same 2-year standard warranty as our established AX-Series range, but through intelligent design-led cost reduction and value-adding flexibility, we believe that the TX series RF power supplies will set a new standard for value at this power level."
